Starting it's third year in 2010 our Apartment at El Rincon, Alameda del Mar on the Costa Blanca has proved very popular, a luxury second floor apartment  This 2 bedroom apartment has adjoining ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning (hot/cold).

It is located in a friendly secure development at El Rincon, Alameda del Mar, by Playa Flamenca on the Orihuela Costa, Southern Costa Blanca, Spain. Ideal for your Costa Blanca holiday rentals and only a short walk to facilities such as the Playa Flamenca Commercial Centre.

The apartment on the Costa Banca at El Rincon is situated on the second floor comprises a comfortable lounge/dining area with sofa, dining table and chairs, English cable TV, (BBC, ITV etc), free Wi-Fi. Patio doors lead to a generous sunny balcony overlooking the communal swimming pool and landscaped gardens, ideal for your relaxation and dining al fresco. You can sit on the balcony and watch your children in the pool, so it's great for families.

The kitchen area is well equipped for four guests with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooker and washing machine. A utility room with iron and board, also provides storage area for cases and golf equipment etc.

The master bedroom has a good quality double bed, generous built in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, toilet, wash hand basin, bidet, mirror and under floor heating for comfort in the winter months.

The second bedroom has good quality twin beds, built in wardrobe, en-suite with a walk in shower, toilet and wash hand basin and under floor heating.

The apartment at El Rincon is set in a pleasant securely gated community with a personal shaded parking bay, access to the community is via an electronic key fob. A lift is available close to the apartment and parkng bay, the property would suit the less able. 

It's a short walk to local blue flag beaches, an excellent choice of restaurants, shops bars & amenities at Playa Flamenca Commercial Centre / Plaza. There are three supermarkets a short walk away (literally just down the road!)  It's a 10 minute drive to 3 championship golf courses. 10 minute drive to Torrevieja. 25 minutes to Murcia airport, 45 minutes to Alicante airport.

A 55 Euro property cleaning fee is payable locally on arrival.

A security deposit of £100 is also taken this is refunded on satisfactory inspection of the property and return of the keys. Smoking inside the property will not be tolerated.

The local area:

Alameda del Mar is the ideal base for many different holidays, during all seasons due to its excellent climate for sunbathers, golfers, couples and families alike.

Just a 15 minute stroll will take you to the blue flag beaches of Playa Flamenca with a childrens' play area a few minutes further along the coastline will take you to the beach at La Zenia, Guardamar, Cabo Roig and Punta Prima where you can enjoy watersports. Other facilities include go-karts, horse riding, waterpark, cycling, cinema and tennis.

The very convenient Playa Flamenca Commercial Centre is a short 10 minute walk with numerous bars, restaurants and entertainment to suit all tastes.  Plus there are 3 supermarkets and banks very close by. Playa Flamenca enjoys a large street market every Saturday morning, selling food, clothing, tourist and household goods.

The Orihuela region is full of history and culture with its many museums, monuments, churches and historic buildings. The nearby towns of Murcia and Cartagena are well worth a visit.

The cosmopolitan town of Torrevieja is only 10 minutes away and easily reached by car, bus or taxi. It is a fascinating place to visit particularly in the evening when you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the harbour and enjoy the nightlife and visit the museum, restaurants, bars and take a boat trip . It is surrounded by 2 national saltwater lagoons home to wildlife including flamingos.  According to the World Health Organisation the lakes make the area one of the healthiest places to live with health properties for ailments such as rheumatic, dermatological and respiratory conditions.  Great curative benefits.

On Friday morning Torrevieja boasts a street market believed to be the largest in Europe. Modern shopping can be found in the many boutiques or the new Harbenas Shopping Centre with many famous labels such as Zara and Puma. You can also go ten pin bowling, visit the amusement centre and sports centre.

Electricals:

Cable TV on 32" LCD TV (BBC / ITV plus German / Norwegian etc).  hi-fi, washing machine, cooker (oven & hob) fridge /freezer, toaster, microwave oven.  Air conditioning (hot & cold).  Under floor heated bathrooms. Iron, ironing board and hair dryer provided. If bringing your own electrical equipment bring your Euro plug adapters. Free internet wi-fi.

Arrivals / departures:

Changeover day: Some flexibility out of the main season when booking can be by the night. Property is available from 4pm, sooner if possible.  Vacate by 10am on day of departure, unless a later time previously agreed.  High season (July / August i.e. school holidays) changeover must normally be on a Saturday.

Cleaning:  

A locally paid fee of 55 Euros must be paid when arriving at the property.  On 2 or more week bookings an extra change of linen will be provided. You must bring your own beach / pool towels. 

Smoking:

Absolutely no smoking must occur within the property.  Evidence of such will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
